THE Horsham Football Club has had a long and
successful history, which is why its premiership back in 2003 was
considered a drought-breaker.
DURING his eight seasons in
the AFL Gary Moorcroft spent most of his game-time close to goal. But
at Essendon and briefly at Melbourne, he usually played the role of
opportunist sidekick, waiting for Matthew Lloyd or Scott Lucas to drop
