Gippsland Times |STRATFORD'S bid for a hat-trick of East Gippsland A grade netball premierships remains alive.
The Swans thumped Lucknow 72-34 in the preliminary final on Saturday in Bairnsdale.
The Swans will return to Bairnsdale this Saturday to play the grand final against Wy Yung, a side it lost to in the semi-finals.
Wy Yung will be playing in five of the six netball grand finals.
Stratford will also meet Wy Yung in the B grade premiership decider. The Tigers defeated Lucknow 34-32 last weekend.
The Swans' bid for three successive C grade premierships was ended by Wy Yung, which won the preliminary final 39-28 to set-up a grand final against Lakes Entrance.
Boisdale-Briagolong lost the D grade preliminary final to Wy Yung 31-23. The Tigers will play Lakes Entrance in the grand final.
Lindenow defeated Orbost-Snowy Rovers in the under 17s 31-24 and will play Wy Yung in the grand final.
In the under 15s, Lindenow booked a grand final berth against Lakes Entrance with a 42-14 win over Lucknow.

A grade: Wy Yung v Stratford, 1.50pm.
B grade: Stratford v Wy Yung, 12.40pm.
C grade: Lakes Entrance v Wy Yung, 11.30am.
D grade: Lakes Entrance v Wy Yung, 10.20am.
Under 17s: Wy Yung v Lindenow, 9.10am.
Under 15s: Lakes Entrance v Lindenow, 8am.
