The Panthers took on Bridgewater in a match vital for the finals aspirations of both clubs.
Marong made the trek across to Bridgewater for the contest.
The Panthers were desperate to claim their seventh win of the season and keep the heat on the third-placed Mitiamo.
Marong led at every quarter break on the way to a 54-34 victory.
