yarrawongaBorder Mail | OUTGOING Yarrawonga co-coach Brendan Fevola is refusing to rule out the possibility of winning a third premiership at J.C. Lowe Oval.

Fevola, who will return to Melbourne to be closer to his family at the end of the season, desperately wants to leave the Ovens and Murray as a winner.

"We were gone in the preliminary final last year and nearly pinched it in the big dance," Fevola said.

"You never know what can happen.

"If you win the first final, then you play a side that has lost and you get momentum and you have the opportunity to get into a prelim final.

"It would be a fairytale.

"I'm telling you, it's on the cards."

Fevola has set himself to return from injury in the elimination final while the Coleman medallist believes Steve McKee will also make an impact in September.

Although Deer Park has already shown interest in Fevola for next season, he hasn’t ruled out playing one-off matches or retiring.
