Tatura was simply too good for Echuca at Victoria Park today, winning 12.10 (82) to 7.4 (46).
The Bulldogs led by just 13 points at half-time, but a five-goal to one third term gave the team a match-winning lead.
The team's best were Rian McGough, Tim Lanyon and Brad Ryan, while Clayton Holmes, Matt Pollock and Ben Reid tried hard for Echuca.

■ Mansfield held off Seymour in a thrilling match at home against Seymour, winning 14.10 (94) to 13.10 (88).
Saad Saad kicked eight for the Lions, but Adam Boshevski and best-on-ground Nick Gray kicked seven and three respectively at the other end as the Eagles won by six points in what was a closely contested match all day.
Chris Hensby also impressed for Mansfield, while Brett Meredith and Matt O'Keefe almost got Seymour over the line.
■ Rochester will want to write off last night's match against Kyabram after it lost by 60 points, 13.17 (95) to 5.5 (35).
The Tigers kicked just one goal in the opening half to the Bombers' 10 and the final margin could have been a lot worse if the home team had kicked accurately.
Nick Coulstock, Xavier Hilton and Axel Childs led the way for Kyabram, with James Gledhill, Ash Watson and Mitch Bright trying hard for Rochester.
No player kicked more than two goals for the game.
■ Shepparton Bears showed some signs of improvement as they lost to Shepparton United, 12.14 (86) to 9.6 (60).
The Bears led at the first change but a six-goal to one second term swung the advantage the Demons way and they held it for the rest of the match.
Paul Currie starred with five goals for the winners, with Beau Muston and Ben Bingham also impressing.
Ash Holland, Sam Bowmaker and Pat O'Sullivan were the best for the Bears.
■ Benalla continued its strong start to the season with a 15.8 (98) to 8.7 (55) win against Euroa, which was set up by a six-goals to one opening term.
Nick Warnock was the leading goal-kicker on the park with three majors — one of 10 separate Saints' players to goal — with Will Martiniello, Zach Pallpratt and Josh Marchbank the team's best.
James Hayes, Adam Tarrant and Nate Trotter impressed for the Magpies.

Finley scraped to a 10-point win in its first game at substitute home ground Blighty, defeating Deniliquin Rams 12.11 (83) to 10.13 (73).
The Cats trailed by 10, one and three points at each of the first three breaks, before kicking four goals to two in the final term to snatch the win.
Cameron and Nick Robertson and Tom Seccull, combined with three goals to Jess Koopman, saw the team to victory.
Daniel Jordan, Darcy Bell and Todd Gallagher were the best for the Rams, with Troy Bartlett and Brett Macdonald each finishing with three majors.
■ Mulwala claimed its first win of the season with a 14.17 (101) to 10.7 (67) result against Congupna.
The Lions booted seven goals to one in the second term to set up the win, with Pat Fittock, Will Farrer (three goals) and Cameron Carling impressing. Troy Taylor also kicked three goals.
Sam Ferguson, Daniel Collyer and Daniel Bowles were the best for the Road, with Mitch Sidebottom kicking three majors.
■ Moama claimed a big upset win against Echuca United in the derby on Good Friday, winning 12.7 (79) to 8.11 (59).
The Magpies were the better team throughout the day and kicked away with a four-goal to one final quarter.
Tyler Jones kicked five goals and Ryan Hudson three as Rhys Archard, Kyle Phipps and Daniel Thorp led the way for the visitors, while Clayton Zanella, Scott Beattie and Bryn Barnes-Webb were the best for the Eagles.
■ Tongala stumbled to a disappointing 41-point defeat away to Nathalia yesterday, 14.13 (97) to 8.8 (56).
The Blues kicked just one goal in each of the first three quarters before winning the final term.
