white hillsBendigo Advertiser | EDDIE Scarff has been honoured for his more than 50 years commitment to the White Hills Football-Netball Club by being named the Demons’ inaugural Living Legend.

Scarff was recognised for his contribution to the club with the Living Legend presentation at half-time of last Saturday’s home game against Huntly.

The presentation was held as part of the Demons’ annual past players’ gathering, of which Scarff is heavily involved in as president of the White Hills Past Players Club.

As well as having played for White Hills after joining the club from Sandhurst, Scarff has also served as an official at the club and was integral in the establishment of the White Hills Junior Football Club.

And the majority of memorabilia on display in the club’s Scott Street social rooms, such as photos, old blazers and ties, trophies and match-balls, has been sourced by Scarff.
