Bridgewater Football Club slumps to 4-3

lvflWeekly Times |YOU have to go back to 2013 for the last time Bridgewater lost three games in a home-and-away season.

That year the Mean Machine finished 13-3, but would go on to win one of the seven Loddon Valley league premierships it’s taken home since 2010.

Bridgewater, which also only lost one regular season match between 2014 and 2016, is now 4-3 after a loss to Newbridge on Saturday, 10.9 (69) to 15.6 (96). It has a bye this weekend.

Meanwhile Bears Lagoon Serpentine, which was last year’s wooden spoon winner, is 5-1 just behind an unbeaten Calivil United.

Both have beaten the Mean Machine this year and Bears Lagoon Serpentine will prepare for a rematch on June 10.
