stawell swiftsWimmera-Mail Times| SWIFTS coach Paul Hanns believes his side needs to change its attitude and band together to resurrect its season ahead of Saturday's match against Taylors Lake.

He said there was a negative mood surrounding the club.

"Our numbers have been down on the track and the commitment has dropped off," he said.

"It is disappointing, but our leadership group needs to step in now and rectify it."

Captain Scott Carey is close to returning from injury, but is still in doubt and needs to prove his fitness.

The Baggies have included forward Tim Friend and defender Nick Pickering, but utility Damon Folkes in unavailable.

Taylors Lake co-coach Pat Purcell said shutting down Baggies midfield gun Sean Mantell was a big priority.

The Lakers will welcome back big man Jordan Wakeling and full back Marc Davey.

"We need to keep the ball in our forward line more because it came out too easily last week," Purcell said.
