bunninyongThe Courier | BUNINYONG has confirmed its senior coaching arrangement for next year on the eve of the 2015 finals series.

The Bombers have confirmed they have reappointed the partnership of Jarrod Morgan and Jake Bridges for the 2016 Central Highlands Football League season.

Morgan will continue to serve as a playing coach, while Bridges will remain in his role on the sidelines.

The pair began working together in 2014 when Bridges took on a mentoring role to Morgan, before stepping up as a joint-coach this year.

Morgan was appointed coach at the end of the 2013 campaign on the back of Joe Gilbert stepping down from the position. Gilbert had taken the team to two-straight grand final defeats.

Buninyong has enjoyed a successful season so far, securing fourth place on the ladder and a double chance in finals with last Saturday’s win over Clunes.

The Bombers are now preparing for a qualifying final against minor premiers Springbank at Waubra this Saturday.
