Bulldogs came out snarling but were ultimately out-worked and out-muscled by a more experienced Bombers outfit.
Beau Guest starred, while debutante Sam Gibson also excellent for Bombers.
Jesse Brown impressed for the Dogs, as did Will Austin-King.
There were no major injuries in the match, although Daylesford's Toby Hughes appeared to suffer a groin complaint in the third term.

A six-goal second quarter has seen Hepburn demolish Learmonth.
The Burras led all day, and the margin could have been much more had the visitors not been wasteful in front of goal.
Lee Cox and Andy McKay combined for three goal each, while the Lakies had no multiple goal kickers.
Learmonth's Dave Wright was stretchered off with a knee injury in the first-half.
Dyson George and Brad Knowles both impressed for the Hotondo Homes Lakies.

A seven-goal haul from Will Young has seen Newlyn beat a spirited Dunnstown.
The Towners opened up a 16-point margin at quarter time and won three quarters for the match.
However, the Cats prevailed in the premiership term, outscoring the Towners 38-0 in the third.
Nathan Skewes and Daniel Wehrung shone for the cats, while Matt Auchettl kicked three for the visitors.
BEAUFORT 10.8 (69) d SPRINGBANK 9.11 (65)
Beaufort bowled over its second 2014 finalist in as many weeks with a fighting three-point win over Springbank at Wallace.
The Graintech Crows, which were one of the big movers in the pre-season, kicked clear in the third term and held off a late GJ Gardner Tigers rally to secure the victory.
Springbank trailed all day before hitting the lead at the 22nd minute mark of the final term, only for Blair Hart to restore the Crows' advantage with a goal shortly after.
Forward Paul McMahon, who kicked four goals to be one of Springbank's standout players, missed a couple of late chances, including one from close range, in the dying stages as Beaufort hung on to record a memorable win.
Recruit Jack Duke (two goals) was one of the Crows' best with a telling display off a wing.
Meanwhile, boom Springbank signing Michael Searl was kept to the sidelines, missing the game through injury.

A dominant second-half has seen Waubra survive an early scare from Rokewood-Corindhap.
The Roos kicked 13 goals to two in the third and fourth quarters after leading by just six points at half-time.
New Waubra recruit Matt Dawson put in a best on ground performance, while Chris Molloy (four) and Joshua Crawford (three) were dominant in front of goals.
Jake Carr kicked two goals for Rokewood, with Chad Baker, Damon Van Dyken, Jason Hutchins and Patrick Smith all with one each.

Skipton has beaten an improved Smythesdale outfit to the tune of 98-points.
The Emus displayed an impressive spread of goalkickers, with 11 players registering majors, led by Adam Slater, Josh Spry and Thomas Breed, who kicked three each.
Smythesdale scored three goals - which it managed just once last season - through Jade Ramage, Angus Peart and Thomas Nankivell.
Matthew Rea was best on for Skipton, while Brad Dunbar was admirable for the Bulldogs.
CRESWICK 14.15 (99) d CLUNES 8.6 (54)
Creswick has stunned Clunes by 45 points.
The Wickers led from start to finish, with Clinton Robertson booting four majors, while Brennan Deppeler chipped in with two.
However, the winners started wastefully, kicking 2.8 in the opening term.
Jesse Baird kicked three for the Magpies, while Gordon recruit Josh Lee was named in Clunes' best.

Gordon has bounced back from last week's loss to reigning premiers Bungaree with an utter shellacking of Carngham-Linton.
A 10-goal to one opening quarter saw the Eagles eventually work their way to a 198-point win.
Mick Nolan, Chris McGuigan and Steve Nicholson all had days out in front of goal.
BUNGAREE 13.8 (86) d BALLAN 6.11 (47)
Benchmark outfit Bungaree survived a huge scare from Ballan to run out 41-point winners.
Ballan, playing on their newly renovated ground, pushed the reigning premiers all the way, trailing by just eight points at three-quarter-time.
However, the Demons steamrolled their opponents with a five-goal to none final term.
Luke Mirtschin kicked five for Bungaree, while Mark Williams kicked three for Ballan.
Bungaree's Spotswood recruit Chase Morgan was one of the best players on the ground.
