Weekly Times | AFL Gippsland should be officially expanded from seven commissioners to 10 tonight at its annual general meeting.
It was decided last year the AFL East Gippsland commission, one of the commissions formed after the Review of Football in Country Victoria, would be dissolved and the AFL Gippsland commission expanded to cover the region.
AFL East Gippsland chairman Les Mathieson and commissioner Tracey Dear will be appointed on to an expanded AFL Gippsland commission tonight, along with Cayte Hoppner.
“I’m really excited about the mix and the quality of people we have on board,” AFL Gippsland chairman Brian Quigley said.
