COLAC tightened its grip on top spot in the Geelong League with a five-point win against third-ranked St Joseph's, 10.9 (69) to 9.10 (64).
Colac led by 10 points in the first quarter, but St Joseph's took control in the second term to create a 23-point buffer at the halftime break.
The tide turned again in the third quarter when Colac kicked 4.2 and St Joseph's was scoreless.
It was tight in the final term as both sides wrestled for control of the game.
Colac won the quarter by two points to claim victory.
South Barwon sits in second place on the Geelong League ladder after it delivered a 145-point drubbing to second-last St Albans. South forward David Cameron bagged six goals.
Geelong West St Peter's stays in fourth spot despite a six-point loss to sixth-placed Grovedale, 9.15 (69) to 11.9 (75).
The two sides went blow for blow at Burdoo Reserve, Grovedale, until the home team was able to break free in the final term.
Newtown and Chilwell sits in fifth place, 11 percentage points behind Geelong West St Peter's.
