The Eagles extended their lead to four goals in the third term and then repelled a last-quarter fightback.
Gary Busuttil kicked four goals for Gordon and Stephen Tudor and Luke Toohey were among the Eagles best.
Gordon faces Creswick, which is in second last place, in the final game of the home-and-away season today.
