Trailing by 15 points at quarter-time, Natte Bealiba snatched the lead with a four-goal second term.
Skipton kicked one goal in the second half as Natte Bealiba added 55 points, winning 14.11 (95) to 7.7 (49).
Natte Bealiba will play the winner of next week's preliminary final between Skipton and Carngham Lions in the grand final.
Rochester and Mansfield are out to spoil the party in the Goulburn Valley League.
Rochester, which sits seventh on the ladder with one round to go, defeated third-placed Shepparton Swans by 44 points on Saturday, 22.6 (138) to 13.16 (94).
Mansfield revived its premiership ambitions with a thrilling four-point win over second-placed Seymour at Mansfield Recreational Reserve, 19.17 (131) to 19.13 (127).
Seymour led until the final term when Mansfield kicked 10.4 to 4.2.
Ben Millott and Matthew Stevens bagged four goals each for Mansfield.
Shepparton United retained top spot after a 41-point drubbing of eighth-placed Mooroopna on Saturday and Euroa holds fourth place after it defeated Shepparton by 51 points. United takes on Mansfield at Deakin Reserve in the last round while Rochester hosts sixth-placed Echuca.
