Omeo-Benambra defeated Swan Reach by 70 points on Saturday to cap off an impressive inaugural season, 24.12 (156) to 13.8 (86).

The Maroons built a four-goal lead in the opening term that widened to 10 goals by three-quarter time.

Maroons spearhead Brent West bagged seven goals for the game to finish with 91 goals for the season. Alan Marshall and Jason Collier were among the best for Omeo-Benambra.

The Warrnambool and District League grand final went down to the wire, with South Rovers edging out minor premier Timboon Demons by one goal, 19.10 (124) to 17.16 (118).

The Demons held a 32-point lead at halftime, but a goalless third quarter opened the door for the Lions.

Upper Murray fans witnessed a thriller between reigning premier Federal and Bullioh on Saturday.

Federal fought back from a 16-point halftime deficit to win by eight points against the minor premier, 12.6 (78) to 13.8 (86).

Lexton Plains premier Carningham Linton claimed back-to-back premierships after a narrow win against Natte Bealiba, 13.7 (85) to 10.7 (67), while Newcomb Power defeated Ocean Grove by 54 points to win the Bellarine League flag, 25.15 (165) to 17.9 (111).
