Wangaratta set the tone with a six-goal opening term and was never headed.
Morris Medal winner Jon McCormick was among the best for Wangaratta, which won 15.10 (100) to 6.13 (49).
In the Ballarat league, Redan won back-to-back flags after it beat Sunbury by 18 points, 18.15 (123) to 16.9 (105).
One point separated the two sides at the last change but Redan came out firing to kick 5.7 to Sunbury's 3.2.
In the Hampden league, Koroit took two steps forward from last year's preliminary final loss to win this year's grand final against Cobden, 15.13 (103) to 10.9 (69).
Koroit spearhead Joe McLaren bagged seven goals to help steer the Saints to victory.
Geelong league minor premier South Barwon won its grand final hit-out with Bell Park on Saturday, 11.13 (79) to 6.6 (42).
South forward Clinton Wells kicked three goals to help the Dragons to its third consecutive flag.
The Wimmera league flag went home with the Horsham Demons on Saturday.
The Demons beat Stawell by 43 points at Warracknabeal, 20.13 (133) to 13.12 (90).
League-leading goalkicker David Johns bagged nine goals for Horsham.
Demons player Scott Batchelor was among the best.
