Sale City held off a persistent Glengarry in a classic tussle.The Dogs lost goal shooter Elli Field early in the match with an ankle injury, which subsequently forced changes to the side’s line up. But the Dogs weren’t fazed as they showed poise to hold off the Magpies, 52 to 51.
Boisdale and Cowwarr fought out a tight contest which saw the Saints seal their fourth win of the season.
The clash between Gormandale and TTU was anticipated to be one of the contests of the round but the ladder leaders had other ideas, the Tigers too strong winning 48 to 38.
Heyfield continued their stellar season defeating the fifth placed Rosedale Blues by 20 goals, 49 to 29 while Churchill won on the road against Stratford.
