Four sides sat locked on points at the top of the ladder prior to the weekends clashes, with Woodside and Gormandale breaking one game clear of Heyfield and Sale City.Woodside proved two strong in the top of the table clash against Sale City.
The Wildcats continuing their assault on their premiership defence with another damaging win against quality opposition, 50 to 37.
Heyfield and Gormandale faced off in the second match of the round.
The Tigers burst out of the blocks catching the Kangaroos, who struggled to contain composure as the visitors shot away to a handy lead.
Gormandale led by up to 10 goals at one stage before the Kangaroos staged an epic come back which saw them dominate the final term as they come within one goal at the final whistle.
Stratford recorded their second win of the season in the battle of the cellar dwellers, the Swans prevailing over the Boisdale Bombers 49 to 40.
TTU proved too strong for Churchill winning comfortably, while Glengarry and Rosedale drew their clash 39 a piece.
