High scoring by Gormandale 77 to Cowwarr 40 ensured the Tigers pushed for the week’s break, the home side drawing level on points with last years reigning premiers Woodside.Woodside’s superior percentage handing the premiers the weeks rest while Gormandale will meet the competitions biggest improver Heyfield.
The Wildcats proved too strong for Churchill but it wasn’t all one way traffic, Woodside sealing victory by nine goals.
Rosedale and Stratford fought out a titanic battle. The Blues sat outside the five at the commencement of the round and were pushed to the final whistle by an impressive Swan line up.

Sale City shot out of the blocks to grab an early lead against Boisdale, City then powering away 71 to 35.
Heyfield worked hard against TTU, the Kangaroos winning 37 to 22 the win placing them in good stead for next Saturdays qualifying final against Gormandale.
