The Flat's Nina Cass was cool under pressure scoring 24 goals from 28 attempts. She had not missed a scoring opportunity in the first half. Karly Bingham at wing attack was a calming influence on her team mates when the pressure was on in the final quarter. Kangaroo Flat held a one goal lead at the final break which Sandhurst soon levelled. It was only with a couple of minutes left on the clock that Kangaroo Flat gained a two goal break. Injury time to Sandhurst with less than 30 seconds remaining forced positional changes and the Flat scored one more goal for the win.

Drawn match. Eaglehawk won in extra time.

An exciting match enthralled the crowd when Sandhurst scored to level the game at the final siren. An intense ten minutes of play ensued with Eaglehawk making the most of its opportunities in and around the goal circle. The Hawks' Breanna Thomas was a focal point in goal shooter taking strong passes and rewarding her team mates with accuracy. Goal keeper Kelly Scholtes continued her good season form forcing the Sandhurst goalies to continuously work the ball into the goal circle for a better position.

Golden Square 10, 21, 29, 34 (34)

GOALS
SANDHURST: Abby Gilmore 36, Gabriella Greene 14, Ashlea Jenkyn 3
MARYBOROUGH: Olivia O'Shea 19, Chelsie Robinson 13

MATCH REPORT:
Sandhurst secured a grand final berth with an emphatic 23 goal win over Maryborough. A 20 goals to 5 second quarter gave the Hurst the ascendency when they played a more controlled game. The Hurst's Kelsey Sartori (GK) and Chloe Watson (GD) were an impenetrable defensive unit. Their height and skilful reading of the play limited Maryborough's attacking opportunities forcing their goalies to work extremely hard for the entire match.
