MATCH REPORT:
Strathfieldsaye advanced to the preliminary final after a one goal win against Kyneton. An impressive first quarter, Strathfieldsaye looked the better team scoring easily through Jahn Austerberry. Kyneton outscored its opponent in the second and third quarter to be only one goal shy of them.

No changes to the Kyneton line up heading into the final quarter and Hayley Redpath, goal attack, positioned well in the goal circle to take passes closer to the goal post converting her team's one goal deficit at three quarter time to a one goal lead one minute into the final term. Playing a solid game, Kyneton gained momentum to take a four goal lead before Strathfieldsaye made changes during an injury break.

With the crowd on the edge of their seats, Strathfieldsaye took possession of the ball with little time left on the clock. A penalty shot awarded to Austerberry a second before the siren paid dividends with Strathfieldsaye winning the match.
