MPNFL - Berwick v Narre Warren - Nathan Waite was the dominant forward in the first round Casey Cardinia match despite the presence of one Brendan Fevola down the other end. The Fev kicked 4 goals straight while Waite kicked 6 goals 2 to be in the best for a successful (Dean Rice coached) Berwick.

HDFL - Natimuk had their first win since August 2008 when they beat Pimpinio on the weekend with a 6 goal last quarter.

CHFL - Premiers Hepburn has lost their first match in well over a year. Beaufort the victor.

HDFL - Dominant Kalkee has lost its first 2 matches of the season after being undefeated for 3 years previously to find themselves in a very unfamiliar position - last on the ladder.

KDFL - Goal Feast. Big scores to the winners in the Kyabram League with an average score of 171 over 5 matches.

EASTER WEEKEND / ANZAC DAY MATCHES
Country footy will take centre stage on Good Friday with 16 matches being played across the VCFL. These are blockbuster matches and will draw large crowds - particularly up on the Murray where holiday makers make a day at the footy a part of their Ester Holiday tradition. Four matches will go head to head with the Bombers and Pies on Anzac Day. Please find list of all matches over the Easter weekend attached.

CYBERSAFETY EDUCATION SESSIONS
Two very important education sessions are being offered by the WorkSafe VCFL this week as pre-eminent cyber safety expert Susan McLean travels to Bendigo (Tonight) and Warrnambool (Wednesday Night) to conduct sessions for players, club volunteers and parents.
