GOLDEN SQUARE

 

A string of excellent games this season has thrown Claire Herbert into the spotlight as the recipient of the Round 13 CVGT Rising Star award. 

 

A second year player with Golden Square’s 17 & Under team, Claire aims to improve upon last year’s performance and win a premiership in the Debbie Symes coached team. 

 

Another product of Myrt Hecker’s Falcons, Claire has been influential in her team’s unblemished season providing a focal point in goals and finishing off the hard work of her team mates with impressive scoring. 

 

An all-round player, Claire has been busy this year representing the BFNL at tournaments in May, which culminated in the WM Loud Association Championships on 1 July. Claire also represented Catholic College at the Marist Netball Carnival in the last week of June. Claire was honoured at this carnival being named in the 2007 Australian Marist team.

 

At just 17 years of age, Claire has a bright future in the BFNL and we look forward to watching her and her team in their quest for victory in September.
