JULIA SMITH

SANDHURST

 

A dynamic defender in her first year with the Dragons Julia Smith is a quick thinker on court and is often given the role of shutting down the opposition’s goaling options, which she has done with aplomb.  

 

Recruited from Boomerangs in the Golden City Netball Association, 16-year-old Julia has had a busy netballing year. Julia has represented the BFNL at the WM Loud Association Championships as well as at Interleague against Ballarat FNL. Catholic College has benefited from her sporting talents representing her school at tournaments as well as the Australian Marist Carnival in June. More recently Julia earned a place in the 17 & Under North Central Region team to contest the State Titles in October.

 

A welcome addition to this year’s Sandhurst line up Julia will play a key role in her team’s advancement to the finals this year.
