GRADEY MCNICOL

GOLDEN SQUARE

 

Stepping out of her comfort zone has been a challenging experience for 17-year-old Gradey McNicol. A member of last year’s 17 & Under grand finalist team, Gradey chose to join the senior ranks this season rather than playing out her final year in the junior grade. That choice has paid dividends for both player and club. 

 

Gradey’s netballing apprenticeship includes squad representation at Strathdale Netball Association, member of the Northern Zone Academy in 2005 and 2006 as well as representing the BFNL at junior level in 2006 and 2007. 

 

An energetic player, Gradey’s skills are best on display in attack particularly the shooting circle. A member of Golden Square’s A Reserve team, Gradey’s creative play was a vital factor in her team’s win over South Bendigo in Round 15.

 

On top of the ladder by percentage only, Golden Square will be looking to continue their winning streak with a win over fifth placed Eaglehawk today.
