Leitchville-Gunbower secured its first appearance in the Heathcote and District Football League finals after a massive 26.15 (171) to 10.5 (65) win against bottom-placed Elmore today.
The Bombers only led by seven points at the first break but kicked 11 goals without reply in the second term to seal the result.
Ryan Eastman, Joel Donehue, Sam Hawkins and Lachie Embleton all kicked three goals for the winners, while the best players were Russell Lee, Shaun Douglass and Jye Keath.
Michael I'Anson, James Drake and Bryce Scott tried hard for the Bloods.
■ Colbinabbin had a good win to finish a disappointing season, defeating North Bendigo 17.12 (114) to 10.18 (78), leaving the Grasshoppers in sixth place on percentage.
The Bulldogs now play Huntly in the qualifying final next week but look to be nowhere near the side it was earlier in the season having lost its past five matches.
The Bulldogs made a blistering start to lead by 33 points at the first break, but the margin was reduced to five points by half-time.
The visitors then kicked 10 goals to four in the second half to win by 36 points, led by Lochie Sirrett, Alex Van Ruiswyk (three goals) and Pat O'Brien (three goals), while Sam Hill also booted four majors.
Aarryn Craig kicked four goals for the home side, while Damien Webb, Ryan Alford and Tom Metherell were their best.
■ Huntly enters the finals series full of confidence after a comfortable 15.19 (109) to 9.11 (65) win against White Hills.
The Hawks won the first three quarters of the match to ease to the win, with Ryan Semmel, Michael Fitzgerald and Charlie Thorpe leading the way.
Jason Clark, Hayden Wright and Bryce Fletcher impressed for the Demons, while Matt Sawyer kicked four goals.
Chris Gleeson kicked five goals and Stacy Fiske three for Huntly.
■ Heathcote overcame a slow start to waltz in its finals campaign with a 15.23 (113) to 7.6 (48) win against Mt Pleasant.
The Saints trailed by 10 points at the opening change but kicked 13 goals to three thereafter to run out 65-point winners.
Grant Ford (three goals), Darcy McLean and Marc Millard starred for the home side, while Nick Edwards, David Coghlan (three goals) and Taig Griffin were the best for the Mounts.

Rochester moved into fourth spot on the ladder after an important 15.10 (100) to 9.17 (71) win against Tatura.
However, the win did come at a cost with a knee injury to gun forward Grant Weeks.
The Tigers set up the win through a dominant first quarter in which they kicked six goals to one and led by seven goals at the final break.
Luke Gestier (five goals), Dylan Cuttriss (four goals) and Weeks (three goals), did the job up forward, with Sam Brennan, Ash Watson and Gestier the team's best.
Bill Hicks (four goals), James Sullivan and James Wall were the best for the Bulldogs.
■ Saad Saad starred as Seymour comprehensively defeated Euroa 21.14 (140) to 9.13 (67).
The Magpies led by one point at the first change but could only muster six behinds to six goals in the second term as the Lions ran away with the game.
Saad finished with 10 goals for the winners, with Paul Colbert also booting four, while the team was led by Tim O'Keefe and Brendan Liddell.
Nick Snowdon, Andrew Bell and Tyson Biffin tried hard for Euroa, with Matt Ivill kicking three goals.
■ The final game of the split round saw Mooroopna prove too good for Shepparton Bears with a six-goal final term seeing the Cats win 13.9 (87) to 3.9 (27).
Daniel Lewis starred to kick six goals for the victors, with Kane Atkinson and Charlie Burrows playing leading hands, while Nick Allan, Jarrod Bateson and Josh Aiken tried hard for the Bears.

Moama kicked 14 goals in the second half to keep its slim Murray Football League finals hopes alive as it defeated Tocumwal 20.17 (137) to 5.8 (38).
Tyler Jones led all-comers with four goals, while Taylor Beard, Kyle Manley and Jake Kilmartin kicked three goals apiece.
Daniel Thorp, David Ismail and Beard were the most impressive for the Magpies, while Adrian Hickey, Daniel Carey and David Farrell tried hard for the Bloods, with Aaron Findlay kicking three goals.
■ Tongala stuck with finals-bound Mulwala for the first half to only trail by five points, but the Lions kicked away after the long break to eventually win 19.17 (131) to 9.7 (61).
The Blues found the forward combination of Chase Strawhorn (seven goals), Nathan Parker (four goals) and Cameron Symes (three goals) difficult to combat, with the team led by Dean Bigger, Strawhorn and Josh Slattery.
Matt Andrews kicked three goals for the Blues, with Adam Lovison, Tom Donnell and Jordan Souter trying hard.
■ Deniliquin Rams all but secured its spot in the finals with a come from behind 15.13 (103) to 12.8 (80) win against Nathalia.
The Purples led by 21 points after the first quarter but were held scoreless in the third term as the Rams pushed out to a 19-point advantage.
Ricky Gittens, Jayden Pitts and Anthony Bull were good for Deniliquin, with Brodie Ross, Craig Whyte and Luke Quinn impressing for Nathalia.
Brayden Hall and Matt Davies kicked three goals each respectively.
■ Numurkah survived what would have been a shock result against Congupna when the Blues narrowly prevailed 15.6 (96) to 12.12 (84).
The Road led by 27 points at half-time but the home team kicked seven goals to none in the third term to wrest back the lead, which it held on to for the rest of the match.
Liam Gledhill, Chris Oliver and Tim Arnel were vital for Numurkah, while Mark Brown kicked four goals.
Mitch Sidebottom and Matt Hodgetts kicked three goals each for the visitors, with Ben Hicks, Nathan Congram and Sidebottom impressing.

Jerilderie forward Aaron Purcell left all in his wake as he kicked a remarkable 23 goals against Deniliquin Rovers to take his season tally to 211.
The Demons ended up winning 34.8 (212) to 6.5 (41) against the third-placed Rovers as the league enters the finals series.
David Gregory and Blair Henery also impressed for Jerilderie, while John Glowrey, Sean Moodie and Matt Dowling tried hard for Deniliquin, with Lenard Clarke kicking three goals.
■ Mathoura was kept scoreless for the first time this season in its final match, as Strathmerton won 40.11 (251) to 0.0 (0).
Missing two of its best players, the Timbercutters were completely outplayed by the Bulldogs, who kicked 16 goals in the second quarter.
Josh Evans booted 12 goals and was best on for the winners, with Zeke Bunge (five goals) and James Daniel (three goals) also impressive, while Adrian Crestani, Shaun Downie and Adam Graham also booted three majors.
Luke Egan, Justin Allingham and James Kildea-Lewis were the best for Mathoura.
■ Picola United finished its season with a gutsy performance against Berrigan, with the Saints winning 13.10 (88) to 7.6 (48).
The Blues stuck with the visitors for most of the day and only trailed by five points at the final change, before being held scoreless in the last quarter.
Matt Cameron, Jack Mynard and Jack Hill led the way for the winners, with Ron Middleton kicking six goals, while David Mollison, Blake Jorgensen and Heath Platfuss were the best for the Blues.
John Walker also kicked three goals.
■ The final match saw Blighty finish Yarroweyah's winless year with a 21.13 (139) to 6.9 (45) result.
Brody Lumber booted nine goals and Zeke Flanagan seven in the big win, with Brad Robson, Jamie Chadderton and Lumber the Redeyes' best.
