Bendigo FNLLeague Review | Gisborne was forced to work incredibly hard by Kyneton in Saturday’s 11th round of A-grade netball in the Bendigo Bank Bendigo Football Netball League season.

The third-placed Gisborne had home-court advantage at Gardiner Reserve for the clash with the Tigers.

Although Gisborne was hot favourite to take the points, Kyneton applied plenty of pressure across every quarter in the cold conditions.

At the final whistle it was Gisborne which led 43-37.

The league’s two breed of Magpie, Castlemaine and Maryborough met on Castlemaine’s court at Camp Reserve.

The home team passed the 70-goal mark in one of its best performances of the season.
