AFL VictoriaThe Age | AFL Victoria has asked for a "clear road map" from the state government on return to play for 170,000 local and junior participants by the end of this week, warning that local clubs and leagues may shut down without such advice.

AFL Victoria wants junior and local leagues throughout the state to be playing by July 11, and has asked the state government to clarify the necessary steps so that the tens of thousands of players in country and metropolitan leagues - and estimated 100,000 volunteers - can make preparations to play.
