gippflGippsland Times |DROUIN is looking the danger team in Gippsland League netball following its 61-43 win over third-placed Leongatha on Saturday.

Maffra picked up its third win of the season, defeating Warragul 52-34, and Wonthaggi defeated Bairnsdale 55-35.

Sale is a game clear in fifth place after its 56-32 win over Moe.

The Magpies were back to full strength with Kate Eddy and Lara Dunkley returning. Eddy and Dunkley, who played in the Victorian under 21 team, have almost completed their Victorian Netball League commitments for the season, which will give the Magpies a full strength line-up leading up to the Gippsland League finals.

The Buys sisters, Caitlen in defence and Hannah in attack, continued to impress for the Magpies.

The Magpies' match at Drouin tomorrow is shaping as one of the matches of the season.

In the match of the round on Monday, second-placed Traralgon defeated the previously unbeaten Morwell 48-28. With the win, the Maroons moved to the top of the ladder.
