Gormandale secured their hold on fourth position on the premiership ladder standings with a dominating 41 goal victory over the lower ranked Boisdale/Briagolong.

Reigning premiers Churchill continue to demonstrate they will be tough competition to beat at the pointy end of the season, the Cougars recording their sixth straight victory with a 58 t0 27 goal victory over Glengarry.

Heyfield accounted for the new look Cowwarr line-up who showed they are no easy beats, the Kangaroos forced to work hard for the four points.

Rosedale caused the upset of the round with a six goal victory over the more fancied Woodside, the Blues winning 45 to 39.
