Seventh placed Cowwarr tested the resolve of their higher ranked opponents second place Gormandale in their round nine clash. The Tier holding strong however were forced to work hard for their 43 to 38 goal victory.

Churchill made a clean sweep of the opening half of the fixture with the Cougars accounting for Heyfield 39 to 30.

Third place Woodside proved to good for TTU recording their sixth win of the season, while Rosedale dominated across the court against the winless Sale City.

Glengarry were tested by the Boisdale/Briagolong Bombers but held sway to win 46 to 39.
