Rosedale recovered from a slow start in their contest against Heyfield the Blue girls working hard to reel back the deficit and draw level at the final whistle, 34 all.

Glengarry started out strongly from the onset in their match against Sale City, the Magpies never headed in their 51 to 39 goal victory.

The Bombers and Tigers played out a tight physical match with Gormandale extending their lead at each change of ends to seal their eighth win and draw clear in second position.

Churchill made it 10 straight with a 55 to 38 goal victory, on Sunday third place Woodside were comprehensive winners over Boisdale/Briagolong.
