League Preview | Bears Lagoon Serpentine marks a return to A-grade netball on Mitiamo’s court in Saturday’s start to the Bendigo Bank Loddon Valley Football Netball League season.
It’s a massive challenge for the Stacee Burns-coached BLS against the powerful Mitiamo line-up.
The Bears have not fielded an A-grade team since 2019, but are determined to have an impact in the top flight.
Arrivals at Serpentine are Paige Allison, Sharna Appleby, Georgia Harrison, Elyssa Hartland, Ella Hocking, Shayna Macartney, Leah McErvale and Tash Whiteside.
After stints at Huntly and Maiden Gully YCW, Appleby adds plenty of skill.
