League Review | Calivil United scored a 27-goal victory against Bears Lagoon Serpentine in Saturday’s second round of A-grade netball in the Bendigo Bank Loddon Valley Football Netball League season.
The Demons almost hit the 60-goal mark in the first match of the season on the Gadsden Finance Serpentine Recreation Reserve court.
At the final whistle the Demons led 59-32 and moved to the top of the ladder after a first-round forfeit from Inglewood.
The Marong Panthers showed they cannot be taken lightly after a nine-goal win against Bridgewater.
It was a closely-fought contest on Marong’s court as the home team took the premiership points in a 44-35 result.
