League Review | The unbeaten run for Calivil United rolled on in Saturday’s fifth round of A-grade netball in the Bendigo Bank Loddon Valley Football Netball League.
A week after a brilliant win against Mitiamo, Calivil United took to Bridgewater’s court.
It was the Mean Machine who led at half-time and three quarter-time as goalshooter Claudia Collins led the way.
The Karen Pascoe and Teigan Redwood-coached Demons faced a four-goal deficit at the start of the final term, but lifted to score a two-goal victory.
Although disappointed with the result, Bridgewater has shown it will be a strong challenger for a top-five finish and appearance in the finals.
The ladder-leading Marong scored a 55-31 win against Newbridge on the Maroons’ court at Holloway Air Riverside Park.
