League Review | Royal Park defeated Navarre by six goals for its second A grade netball win of the 2022 MCDFNL season, with the win led by Tigers stalwart Alisha Hovey in her 250th club game.
It was the annual Blue Ribbon round between friendly rivals Navarre and Royal Park and the senior netball game added to the atmosphere with just a single goal in it by half time.
Navarre was up 14-13 heading into the third term at home, however Bushy turned this around to keep their host to just two goals and shooting seven of their own to lead 20-16 at the final change.
Despite the Hoppers’ best efforts, Park took the game with a score of 29-23, just their second mark in the win column so far this season.
Hovey won the Blue Ribbon medal as best on court for the game, capping off her milestone game with something for the trophy cabinet.
