League Review | The powerful Sandhurst, Kangaroo Flat and Gisborne line-ups dominated their matches in Saturday’s eighth round of A-grade netball in the Bendigo Bank Bendigo Football Netball League season.
Despite the cold conditions, Kangaroo Flat made a hot start to its match on Strathfieldsaye Storm’s court at Triple M Park in Tannery Lane.
The Roos led 22-4 at quarter-time and had built a 33-goal lead by the main break on the way to a 74-23 victory.
Gun goalshooter Lou Dupuy scored 50 goals in the opening three quarters for the Jayden Cowling-coached Kangaroos who have a 7-1 record.
Strong defensive efforts were a key factor in the Roos’ win, along with the play of Ash Ryan and Chelsea Sartori in mid-court.
