League Review | Maiden Gully YCW Eagles and Calivil United have jumped to first and second on the A-grade ladder after Saturday’s ninth round of netball in the Bendigo Bank Loddon Valley Football Netball League.
As Marong had the bye, the Eagles and Demons scored important wins.
Maiden Gully YCW dominated play on its court at Marist College Bendigo to score an 84-25 win against Bears Lagoon-Serpentine.
The red-hot form of Calivil United rolled on as the Demons won 50-25 at Holloway Air Riverside Park in Newbridge.
The windy conditions made it tough for goalers, although Amy Murfitt and Mia McCrann-Peters did well to capitalise on the dominance of a mid-court led by Tia Steen and Jarileey Scholtes.
