Bendigo FNLLeague Review | Kangaroo Flat has rocketed to favouritism for the A-grade netball premiership after Saturday’s thumping win against Sandhurst in round 13 of the Bendigo Bank Bendigo Football Netball League season.

The Kangaroos dominated play on their court at Dower Park to score a 66-49 victory and ended Sandhurst’s unbeaten streak on 19 games.

Strong defence and excellent passes from mid-court to attack set up a 34-23 lead for the Roos by half-time.

There were many stand-out performers for the Jayden Cowling-coached Kangaroos.

Milly Wicks led the defensive pressure for Flat and Ingrid Hopkins also played well.

Lou Dupuy scored more than 50 goals.
