Round Review | Just who takes fifth place on the A-grade netball ladder is still up for grabs after Saturday’s 17th round in the Bendigo Bank Heathcote District Football Netball League season.
Although it was on the sidelines because of the bye, Heathcote can still make the finals after Lockington Bamawm United, Leitchville-Gunbower and Huntly were all beaten in Saturday’s showdowns.
Heathcote is a win behind LBU, LG and Huntly who all have 5-10 records, but the Saints have the best percentage.
In round 18, Heathcote is on its court at Barrack Reserve for a crucial showdown with Leitchville-Gunbower.
The LG Bombers will be on the rebound from a 54-30 loss on the Gunbower court to White Hills.
