League Review | The Gisborne hoodoo struck Kangaroo Flat once again in Saturday’s 16th round of A-grade netball in the Bendigo Bank Bendigo Football Netball League season.
Stung by a one-goal loss to South Bendigo the previous round, a fired-up Gisborne took to its court at Gardiner Reserve to take on the in-form Kangaroo Flat.
The Roos had not won at Gisborne in six seasons and the trend continued.
The Tarryn Rymer-coached Gisborne applied a lot of pressure in all thirds of the court and capitalised in attack to complete a 45-40 victory in which goal attack Claudia Mawson, Kirby Elliott and Maddy Stewart played key roles.
