With both sitting at 4-6, neither of them can afford too many losses in the second half of the season.
That said, both coaches would be pleased to see the improvement and growth within the team.
It isn’t always about wins and losses.
Young Swan shooter, Ella Cirillo was outstanding in goals, shooting 40 of her team’s score in the big win over Benalla last weekend.
Hannah Garner, Klarindah Hudson and captain Chelsea McDonald (17 goals) were others to play well in the team’s 72-29 win over the Saints.
If they can continue that form and keep the likes of young gun Teal Hocking and some of her more experienced team-mates from having an impact, then the Swans can get the win.
