Match Previews | Maiden Gully YCW Eagles will eye an upset victory when they play Newbridge in Saturday’s sixth round of A-grade netball in the Bendigo Bank Loddon Valley FNL season.
The Adam Boldiston-coached Eagles start the round in sixth place on a two-two record.
A crucial contest will be played from 2.30pm at Walker’s Doughnuts Riverside Park in Newbridge.
A Newbridge team jointly coached by Selina Holland and Kristy Gandy is third on a three-one record.
In last Saturday’s play, Maiden Gully YCW marked a 52-35 win against Inglewood on the Eagles’ court at Marist College Oval.
As the Eagles soared, Newbridge had the bye.
Another big match will be at Marong’s Malone Park where the Panthers take on Bridgewater.
The Robyn Cunnington-coached Marong is seventh on a two-three record.
