Loddon Valley FNLMatch Reviews | Newbridge climbed to the third rung on the A-grade netball ladder after Saturday’s 13th round in the Bendigo Bank Loddon Valley FNL season.

As the Newbridge team beat Inglewood by 36 goals, Bridgewater fell from the third rung after a 22-goal loss at home to Pyramid Hill.

The Selina Holland and Kristy Gandy-coached Newbridge dominated play on its court at Walker’s Doughnuts Riverside Oval.

At the final siren the Maroons led the Abbey Hayes-coached Blues, 66-30.

Match of the day was at Bridgewater where the Mean Machine took on Pyramid Hill.

Strong defensive efforts were a feature of Pyramid Hill’s play as it held Bridgewater to a tally of 31 goals.

The attack of the Chelsea Emmerson-coached Pyramid Hill passed the 50-goal mark as it won 53-31 against the Caz Wood and Olivia Collicoat-coached Bridgewater.

Mitiamo showed it’s going to be tough to beat for this year’s premiership cup.
