Match Previews | A tough run for South Bendigo in A-grade netball rolls on this Saturday’s 13th round of the Bendigo Bank Bendigo FNL season.
A week after playing Kangaroo Flat, South Bendigo makes its way down the Calder Highway to play Gisborne at Gardiner Reserve.
It’s another huge challenge for the Alicia McGlashan-coached Bloods as they take on the reigning premiers.
When these clubs met in round four it was the Tarryn Rymer-coached Gisborne which won 61-37 on South Bendigo’s court at Harry Trott Oval in Kennington.
It’s been an extended break for Gisborne since it beat Sandhurst by 11 goals on June 29 at Gardiner Reserve.
A rest for inter-league on July 6 was followed by Gisborne being drawn to play at Maryborough last round.
The Magpies are not fielding an A-grade team this season.
