Match Previews | Memories of a one-goal loss in their previous A-grade netball clash will spur Maiden Gully YCW Eagles against Newbridge in Saturday’s action in the Bendigo Bank Loddon Valley FNL.

The Eagles will be on their court at Marist College Oval in Maiden Gully to take on the third-placed Newbridge in the 15th round.

Although it will not feature in the finals there is still plenty for the Adam Boldiston-coached Eagles to play for.

A 41-42 result on Newbridge’s court at Walker’s Doughnuts Riverside Oval in round six was one of the Eagles’ best performances of the season.

The Eagles won their latest hit-out at Inglewood’s Centre State Scaffolding Oval by 30 goals.

Will be a tough task in taking the points against the Selina Holland and Kristy Gandy-coached Newbridge which will be equally desperate to retain third place.

After taking on the Maroons the Eagles round out their season by playing at Marong on August 3, host Bears-Lagoon Serpentine on the 10th, and play at Pyramid Hill in the last round of the home-and-away series.
