Loddon Valley FNLMatch Reviews | In what could be a qualifying final prelude, Pyramid Hill won a thrilling A-grade netball showdown with Newbridge as the Bendigo Bank Loddon Valley FNL marked its 16th round on Saturday.

It was third against second on Newbridge’s court at Walker’s Doughnuts Riverside Oval.

The Chelsea Emmerson-coached Pyramid Hill had the bye the previous round and teamed superbly on the Maroons’ court.

At the final siren the team in red, white and blue held a 48-45 lead against a Newbridge team jointly coached by Selina Holland and Kristy Gandy.

Although it had home court advantage, Bears-Lagoon Serpentine could not halt Mitiamo’s charge to an impressive victory.

The Danielle O’Toole-coached Bears were keen to test themselves against the ladder leaders at Gadsden Finance Serpentine Reserve.

The Mitiamo line-up coached by Jen Wilson took the points in a high-scoring 72-51 victory.

Matches in the other two A-grade matches were incredibly close.
