The Blues advanced to the season decider on September 7 at Hay by scoring an 11-goal victory against Ultima in Saturday’s second semi-final at Wandella Recreation Reserve.

Murrabit led 45-35 at the final siren.

Sole defeat for Murrabit in the run to the finals was an 11-goal loss on Moulamein’s court in the fifth round.

The Blues began their finals campaign in style against the Kangaroos who had achieved a 10-6 record in the home-and-away series to be second on the ladder.

The Kangaroos will strive to gain another crack at Murrabit by winning next Saturday’s preliminary final against Hay.
