Match Review | MITIAMO began its quest for back-to-back A-grade netball premierships in fine style in Saturday’s second round of the Bendigo Bank Loddon Valley FNL season.

Jointly coached by Abbey Battersby and Jess Kaur, Mitiamo dominated play on its court at John Forbes Oval.

The Superoos were in top form in all thirds of the court as they claimed a 94-44 victory.

Mitiamo’s squad includes Sarah Bateman, Carly Scholes, Amelia Ludeman, Laura Hicks, Emma and Kelly Pay.

It’s been a tough start for the Cindy Portwine-coached Calivil United.

The Demons faced Maiden Gully YCW in round one.

Marong could not halt Pyramid Hill’s charge to a 57-50 victory in the Panthers’ den at Jackal Oval in Marong’s Malone Park.

It was another superb effort by the red, white and blue after a 51-44 win at Newbridge’s Deepcore Drilling Oval in round one.

The Pyramid Hill team is jointly coached by Chelsea Emmerson, Simone Edgley and Laura Herbert.
