Bendigo FNLMatch Reviews | KANGAROO Flat has shown it’s the team to beat for this season’s A-grade netball premiership after an impressive win against Sandhurst in the Bendigo Bank Bendigo FNL’s fourth round.

The Kangaroos bounced their way to a 47-35 lead by half-time of Saturday’s match of the day against Sandhurst at Queen Elizabeth Oval.

In a re-match of last season’s preliminary final which was won by the Roos it was mid-courters Ash Ryan, Chelsea Sartori and Milly Wicks who were in outstanding form.

Their play was capped by goal attack Ruby Barkmeyer and Abbey Ryan as the Roos won 64-54.

It’s not too often the Tamara Gilchrist-coached Sandhurst has been beaten by Kangaroo Flat.

The Roos are the competition’s only unbeaten team.

Gisborne raced to a nine-goal lead by the first break in its clash on Eaglehawk’s court at Canterbury Park.

The Tarryn Rymer-coached Gisborne controlled a lot of the play against the Jannelle Hobbs-coached Hawks.
